I invented this product in 2006 and have had zero luck getting it on the market. Yes, I currently do own the patent on it. The prototype shown in the video is the first of several variations I have made.
My second and completed prototype is much smaller, and in the hands of my patent attorney.
Robert Fieseler -patent attorney, and city council chairman of Naperville, IL.-

I have utilized the cfl, and ultra efficient led, combined the two together in the same base, and added a switching feature to choose between the two.

The switch is not limited to what is shown. It can be any switch you can think of. Wireless controlled, wifi controlled, timer controlled, daylight controlled, motion controlled etc. The possibilities for this bulb are endless as led’s become more powerful.

The smaller the spacing between each led and the smaller the size of each led used, achieves the best results for light output. Surface mount led’s are incredible and stunningly powerful in this bulb.

Lumileds Luxeon rebel leds will most like be used in the final product, making it more than just an ordinary nightlight.

Each home in the usa has at least one lamp of some sort on at night. The average lamp burns 60 watts of electricity. Replace it with this lightbulb and you WILL save up to 80% on your electric bill. There can also be an implemented power-outage blackout feature that allows the leds to be illuminated via batteries the second power is disrupted, thus doubling as an emergency lamp.
